Manny Bancil

Insights & Reporting Analyst

With a background in analytics working across sales, marketing, and customer data in various sectors, Manny joins us from Nasmyth Group where he was Group Business and Market Analyst. Currently studying for an M.Sc. in Business Analytics, he brings his analytics and reporting expertise to support our growing client base. Manny enjoys playing cricket for his local team when time allows and is a family man with a three-year-old daughter. Aside from this, he has a keen interest in travelling and reading.

Nicola Travis

Client Director

With a wealth of client-side experience gained from working at brands including Matalan, The Fragrance Shop and Cotton Traders, Nicola’s skills encompass on and offline marketing, including loyalty programmes, CRM, data insights, acquisition and retention, planning and strategy. She’s also worked agency-side, so understands the value of data-driven marketing from both perspectives. Outside of work, Nicola enjoys watching all sports – particularly tennis and football – and watching all of her sons under 13s games.

Katie Ta’ssell

Campaign Manager

Katie joins us from Direct Wines, where for almost 20 years she held a wealth of positions across different business areas, including marketing campaigns, customer acquisition, commercial marketing, and gifts. She brings an eye for detail and excellent organisation skills, which she’ll be putting to good use supporting our clients. When not working, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, walking (or being walked by) the dog, and sporadic bursts of gardening.

Rupert Samuel

Client Director

With extensive multi-channel experience gained from working at NET-A-PORTER, Space NK, Burberry and most recently as Head of E-Commerce at luxury French beauty brand, By Terry, Rupert brings a wealth of knowledge across beauty, fashion, and high-street retail. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including marketing strategy, customer acquisition, retention, performance media, data, and analytics. Rupert loves all things music, although his aspirations of writing a musical are currently on hold as most of his time is taken up with his three children.

Margot Weymouth

Client Director

Joining us from Laithwaites Wine, Margot has a wealth of multi-channel experience gained from working for the world’s largest direct-to-consumer wine merchant. Her expertise includes managing multi-channel marketing activities, developing customer journeys, and driving outcomes by applying data effectively. When not delighting clients, Margot can be found taking long country walks, swimming, or catching up on someone’s life in the pages of a good autobiography.

Charlotte Cook

Senior Insight Analyst

With a passion for working with data and data visualisation, Charlotte has a background in large retail brands. Prior to joining Tapestry, she was a marketing analyst at Sainsbury’s and, before that, a CRM analyst at Walgreens Boots Alliance. Charlotte is responsible for using data to help clients better understand their audiences and business performance and provide recommendations to guide future activity. Outside work she enjoys books, film photography and has recently discovered the delights of Formula 1.

Joanna Owen

Sales and Marketing Executive

Joanna joins Tapestry with over 8 years’ experience in marketing communications, CRM and project management, having worked in the ecommerce, professional services, event management and not-for-profit sectors. She is responsible for coordinating all marketing communications at Tapestry, as well as supporting the new business team in developing tailored pitches, proposals and programmes of activity for prospective clients. In her spare time, Joanna loves nothing more than a game of tennis, Pilates class, or trying out new London restaurants with friends.

Marco Gallone

Client Director

Before joining Tapestry, Marco worked with a wide variety of multi-channel retail brands big and small in his role as Account Manager at Epsilon Abacus, supporting customer recruitment and retention campaigns through direct mail. He enjoys forging strong relationships with clients and working as part of their marketing team to help them achieve their objectives. Marco is an expert at juggling multiple tasks and loves to develop his skillset – recently completing an MSc in Marketing in his spare time.

Olivia Nunnerley-Hood

Senior Campaign Manager

Before joining Tapestry, Olivia was Catalogue and Print Marketing Executive at Lakeland where she was responsible for the end-to-end management of their printed and postal marketing communications. She is an expert in the procurement of printing and postal services as well as having in-depth experience of campaign planning and the design and development of segmentation testing. Whilst her passion lies in print, Olivia also has experience in brand activation and sales from her role as a Student Brand Manager for Red Bull whilst she was at university, where she was responsible for driving brand image on her campus, and for implementing sales and marketing projects.

Bryan Mayoh

Chairman

Previously Chairman of The Javelin Group (‘Experts in Multi-Channel’) management consultancy, Bryan oversaw its growth from start-up through to its sale to Accenture Plc, achieving annual sales of over £32 million pa at its height. He was also Chairman of Express Gifts, Findel Education, Warehouse Express, Dream Direct plc and Non-Executive Director of Screwfix. His last full-time business role was Chief Executive of Littlewoods Home Shopping, where he helped grow profits from £40 million to £90 million p.a.in 3 years on a turnover of £1.7 billion. The data world is now Bryan’s hobby, his real passion is breeding race horses.

David Lockwood

Insight Director

As Director of Global Marketing at Boden, he managed a 30-strong team with a £70m budget, delivering 20% growth and transforming customer recruitment from 60% offline to 60% digital. Previously Head of Analytics at Direct Wines, Marketing Director at The Cotswold Company and Head of Marketing at Dream Direct plc.

A keen sailor and skier but is most at home on 2 wheels, can often be seen navigating London on his folding bike.

Mitesh Chauhan

Head of Analytics

Bringing a wealth of experience in data and analytics, Mitesh is responsible for leading the analytics team in delivering meaningful and actionable insight to clients based on their customer data, to inform strategies for growth. Prior to joining Tapestry, Mitesh held senior analytical roles at Next, E.ON and NPS. When not working, Mitesh can be found DJing, producing music, or participating in a range of sports, from football and cricket to kickboxing and swimming.

Lee Davison

Senior Software Developer

Lee is a seasoned programmer, having created web sites and applications since the earliest days of the web. As such, he has a natural ability for understanding and improving existing Tapestry platforms and applications to deliver intuitive dashboards and reports. When not at work, Lee is a keen match angler at various local fisheries. Combining this with his love of developing websites and applications, Lee has recently worked on an app allowing match anglers nationally to search for local fisheries.

Annabel Osborne

Insight Analyst

Annabel has a passion for numbers and analysing data to share insights in a way that opens up new opportunities for clients. She supports the team in the measurement, analysis and interpretation of multiple client data sets. Previous to Tapestry, Annabel worked as a Senior Category Analyst at a number of clothing brands including Crew Clothing, BHS and New Look, as well as holding a research position at Royal Marsden. At weekends, Annabel enjoys family walks in the park with her young family.

Mike Charles

Senior Software Developer

With a firm belief in following best coding practices, Mike is responsible for helping to develop, enhance and support our Customer Data Platform, allowing continuous improvements to our analysis, campaign management and reporting. Mike brings vast experience to the team, having held various senior developer roles for an IT solutions provider, telemarketing company, and energy provider. Outside of work, Mike loves learning new programming languages. He is a keen fan of Formula 1 and Rugby. Since the pandemic, he has enjoyed experimenting with vegan baking.

Claire Odom

Client Strategy Director

Most recently Managing Director at Proactiv UK, the world’s largest acne brand and formerly the European Marketing Director for US Direct Marketing Firm, Guthy-Renker, as well as Marketing Director at Direct Wines. Her experience encompasses managing complex, multi-channel businesses within challenging trading environments and utilising consumer data to identify new opportunities and solutions to improve business performance.

Outside work, Claire enjoys running, yoga and dabbling in triathlons.

Lara Bonney

Business Development Director

Most recently Chief Marketing Officer at global fashion brand Long Tall Sally, she built her reputation as Managing Director of data solutions at Epsilon Abacus. She was a co-founder of the Abacus Alliance that pioneered transaction data-sharing in the UK and a Group Account Director at Claritas (now Acxiom). Lara is a GDPR advocate and was a board member at the Data Protection Network.

Outside work, Lara is a book lover, enjoys adventures abroad, musicals, cycling and walking.

Robert Colquhoun

CEO

Lately a Director and Investor in furniture brand Myakka, as well as marketing consultant to several growing multi-channel businesses, he made his name by co-founding and building software-to-entertainment multi-brand, multi-channel Dream Direct plc to become a £25m gross revenue 4-brand company listed on AIM, with 1 million+ customers and 85 employees.

Robert obviously never takes a day off, but if he did he would potter in his garden, collect books, go travelling, and occasionally relax at the altar of Bacchus.

Mark Sargent

Technology Director

Mark has implemented websites, smartphone apps, mail order, warehouse, telecom and stock control systems, built customer data and ecommerce platforms and managed large teams to ensure 24/7 operation of all systems and platforms. He has played senior IT roles at home interiors brand Myakka, entertainment brands Webb Ivory and Dream Direct, gift brand Past Times and children’s toy brand Early Learning Centre.

Ashleigh Davies

Head of Client Teams

Ashleigh is a rare hybrid, with deep experience of offline campaign planning from CRM roles at Next, Jack Wills and MOO.com. She has an in-depth understanding of the mailing strategies of a myriad of other multi-channel retail brands from her role as Direct Mail Media Specialist at Royal Mail. She is particularly passionate about print and loves helping ecommerce brands to plan, test and measure catalogues that inspire new customers to buy and keep them engaged to buy again.

Tim Hugall

IT Support Manager

Tim specialises in data management, implementing websites, smartphone apps and building and supporting IT infrastructure. Before joining Tapestry, he helped small businesses with web design and IT services through his own consultancy Rockwells IT, and prior to that he supported IT at furniture brand Myakka. Tim’s claim to fame is that working as an independent, he was one of the very first AppStore developers, producing apps for the BBC and many other chart topping apps.

Outside work, Tim enjoys collecting Lego as well as Retro and Vintage computer games.
